Photos by Constructable
Construction photo documentation for general contractors
Every jobsite photo stamped with when and where it was taken, pinned to the plans, and in front of the whole team. Photos come with every plan, and we do flat pricing with unlimited users.

Field capture
Shoot straight into the album
Our construction photo documentation app puts every walk in its own album, so photos land in the project instead of on someone's phone.
• Walking the job: open the album in the app, tap Add Photos, and choose Take Photos to shoot straight into it
• Something needs motion to explain: albums hold videos as well as photos
• Weak signal on site: the app queues uploads and retries an interrupted one, so keep it open until they finish
• Back at the trailer: drag photos and videos from your computer onto the album

Stamped captions
Proof of when and where, on the photo itself
Turn on Date, Time, and Location Captions and Constructable stamps each new photo with its capture time, the address, and the GPS coordinates. The stamp is part of the image, so it stays on the photo when someone downloads it, emails it, or pastes it into a report.
• A dispute over when work was done: the photo shows the date, time, and time zone it was taken
• Before the drywall goes up: the photo of what's inside the wall carries its own date and location
• One setting for the company: an admin turns it on once, and it covers project and daily log photos on every project. Photos uploaded before then stay as they were.

Photos on the plans
Pin the photo where it was taken
Drop a Photo pin on the sheet in the drawing viewer, then take new photos or choose ones already in the project. Each pin shows how many photos it holds.
• Documenting rough-in: pin the photos to the spot on the floor plan before the ceiling goes in
• Reviewing a photo later: open Sheets in its details to jump to the exact sheet and pin
• Keeping drawing photos together: photos taken from a pin collect in the project's Pinned album

Connected to the work
One photo, everywhere it's needed
Photos live in the same project as your RFIs, punch lists, and daily logs, so nobody uploads the same picture twice.
• Writing an RFI: attach photos already in the project from the album picker
• Punching a unit: pick existing photos for a punch list item from the same picker
• Filling out the daily log: add photos and videos to the log and its entries, and the PDF groups them by where you put them
• A question about a photo: add a description and start a comment thread on it

Find and report
Find the photo, then send the report
The photo grid shows every album at once, grouped by the month each photo was taken.
• The owner asks about last Tuesday: set a start and end date to see only the photos from those days
• You remember the album: search album titles, or use project search, which covers photos along with documents and other attachments
• Weekly owner update: select photos on desktop and export a PDF report with their timestamps and descriptions
• Handing off originals: download the original files, or save them to your camera roll from the app
